Oversee the complete business operations of the online business organisation and be accountable for its performance. Own P&L target for online sales across all product categories. Plan, execute and manage complete operations of the online business at each level – Front-end operations, Product Assortment, Supply chain, Distribution and CRM. Act as a strategic intermediary between product groups and external e-commerce partners. Manage the process – product portfolio selection, negotiations, and marketing and sales. Evaluate partner’s capabilities and how it fits into specific category’s product roadmap and sales plan. Work with partner and product category leadership, use customer insights, to decide online portfolio and also propose derivatives/exclusives for online channel. Work with internal stakeholders – sales, planning and admin, corporate planning, marketing, procurement, supply chain management, etc. to create online-specific policies for seamless transactions within a robust framework. Manage partner expectations with respect to timelines, product features & quality, profitability, customer acceptance, etc. Manage a team of around 10.



Top tier MBA with 15 – 20 years. Proven leadership of large e-Commerce projects. At least 7 in e-commerce/ digital/ online business. Must have physical product experience/ e-commerce experience and dealt with products like FMCG/ mobile handsets/ durables/ furniture/ consumer electronics/apparel and lifestyle/ computers. May come from a product company’s online business channel or an e-commerce company. Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technology and sophisticated analytics. Have deep exposure to sales planning & schemes, pricing strategy, digital marketing & support, promotional activities, merchandizing, product and customer segmentation. Expert knowledge of various business principles such as marketing strategy, financial analysis, and supply chain oversight. Possess understanding of both offline and online product market. Must be very savvy in working with the leaders of the other business units to balance the interests of the other business units – while also driving online sales. Extremely strong communication skills – both verbal and written. Leadership, negotiation, networking, problem solving and decision making capabilities of a superior order.
